Most of the ardent fans of this cruise liner has turned to Genting Highlands to fix their addiction since the cruise liner has ceased operation since December of 2024. At the moment there are no cruise ships plying this route.
There are 2 sides to this story, firstly it is a relief for family members of those addicted, now they can stay home and improve the economy of the house hold.
Secondly, kudos to the operator for not sucking anymore wealth from the people of this island and its surroundings.
Since your presence here, lots have went broke because of you and the addiction you brought, high time you move away and leave these people alone.
Last updates was on 18/11/2023 on this one night cruise.
Since the COVID outbreak has been relaxed, the company that operates this cruise has also loosen the stringent requirements before berthing on the cruise. No longer required to do the antigen test or to wear face masks. It's now discretionary but other regulations still follows example with booking, public week days is RM120/- whether it's Eve or public holidays, walk-in is RM140/-.
No more scanning with the my sejahtera apps. Just required to show your NRIC or passport upon checking in with the ticket.
The food is still the same poor quality least to said service is very poor. You need to have plenty of patience since the company employs lots of deaf and dumb waiters, to get their attention you need to behave like beggars begging for food before being serve with a food tray. Quality wise is next to junk even economy rice taste better.
About 40 minutes after departure, through the PA system they announced that the casino is officially open, the casino practically takes up the whole area of deck 3 (Lvl.3) it remains open till morning for night cruisers and 7.00pm for morning cruisers meantime dinner or breadfast will be served before you finally hit port at around 8.00am/pm then you go through the process of checking out when not crowded it takes least then 10 minutes but when crowded would take about half an hour. There are no in between meals or snacks being serve strictly that 2 meals. Whatever extra you want to order you have to pay.
The operator needs to improve the checking-out procedure, takes too long and time consuming moreover the method they used is rather old fashioned and outdated. Manually operated
There aren't many facilities on board except the casino, it's mainly cater for gamblers.
You live to experience being a fool in such situations, going through some silly jokes riding with someone who have nothing better to do.

Saw many elderlies with SG passports boarding the cruise to possibly try their luck. It's a good deal if one exchange more gambling chips;The rebates in terms of gambling chips can offset the overall daily fee of SGD49 by SGD40.

Our experience at the Singapore Cruise Centre was smooth and hassle-free from start to finish. The booking process through Trip.com was very convenient and straightforward. On the day itself, everything was well-organized — from check-in to boarding, the flow was easy and efficient. Unlike Airport, Cruise Center needs to clear thousands of passengers through at one single port at a very short time. The queuing can be frustrating, the waiting can be tiring. There is just a few seats before the custom area. Can be tough for those elderly cruise passengers. I do understand of the layout at custom area, however, about 30 seats for thousands of passengers is truly a misplanned. Most painful to receive payments using PayPal. They do not read what documents you have submitted and keep asking for the same, I wonder if those guys are illiterate in PayPal. We celebrated my son's third birthday at The Play Scene alongside 20 of his classmates and their parents. Highlighting the pros and cons of this venue:
- allows own catering (most indoor playground’s food is bad, and charges extra for external food or bans it). Also lots of restaurants nearby for easy arrangement.
- staff assisted with set up and clean up. Very thankful for that
- package includes more than 1 parent per child!! This alone makes it a top venue choice for me. Like…. Do you expect birthday child to only choose 1 parent to attend? And grandparents can’t join? 🙄 I don’t understand why so many places only allow 1 adult per child…
- They have nespresso machine with milk frother which was handy. Fridge which eliminated the need for me to get ice. Trash bags, table cloth, cake knife, lighter ready so you don’t need to prepare for them. They also have 2 high chairs which was handy as we have a younger baby.
- kitchenette and Toilet on site
- 1 hour time for set up in the morning
- venue isn’t so small that it was too crammed, but it’s also not so big where I have to run after the kids. We had 20 kids and more than 20 adults and it felt ok.
- customized story telling. My son is obsessed about elevators and mopping and they incorporated those elements to his Mickey themed party. The host dressed up as Minnie and was so kind to the children, she even helped my son get more food because he asked her. He tells me he likes Auntie Minnie multiple times after.
- I was a bit skeptical about story time with this age group because of their interest and attention span. I would say that even with good efforts, we did lose a lot of kids to the playroom. The host was flexible enough to realize when you cut short the story and just let the kids have fun and do their own things. The playground attached was perfect and was a good fall back for kids who were not interested in the story telling.
- the only thing I can complain about is on site parking is not abundant, but it’s not too bad. Great concept, space and team. We celebrated our kids' birthdays here and had about 20 kids attend (+ parents). They truly enjoyed the story-telling session which was interactive, fun and funny. Then the kids went wild in the play area which had a slide, sandbox and other engaging toys. We hosted our son's 4th birthday here (after having a very positive experience hosting his 3rd here last year).
The play area is awesome for little ones still of preschool age. The package comes with a themed story telling and themed craft session - we went with a pirate theme and they were able to accommodate. Host was really fun with the kids and the staff present today were so sweet, helpful and accommodating even as we were switching up plans and including our own treasure hunt games into the mix. They also included some decorations in the cake cutting area so we didn't have to set up anything ourselves.
Logistics wise, really easy - catered food and drinks were allowed, and there is a fridge on site. As well as a large comfortable area for everyone to have lunch. They also helped to procure a themed gift bag of a book with a return voucher.
We had around 15 kids and 20 adults which wasn't too cramped.
